if it's not composted fully. Merrill's Poultry Compost is
properly aged, formulated, and processed to ensure a stable, nutrient-rich

Q. Is
Merrill's Poultry Compost high in salts?
A. Our compost is VERY LOW
in salts when compared with mushroom or dairy compost.
 Q. Do
your chickens receive antibiotics?
A. We'd never feed our
chickens that stuff! Our
chickens receive NO ANTIBIOTICS, NO HORMONES, and NO
STEROIDS. We also do not use any pesticides in our chicken
houses. Our birds are fed ONLY NATURAL GRAINS in their
chicken feed, along with lots of fresh water.

What is used in the production of your compost?
A. Sorry, we can't tell you
everything that's in our special compost blend. But we can
tell you what's NOT in it. Our compost contains only organic
materials and clean chicken manure. It does not contain
biosolids (human waste), mixed solid waste (garbage), grass
(which contains herbicides), or any other animal manures.
